Apple Provides Free Battery Replacement Service
Since Apple released the new macOS Big Sur system, some MacBook Pro users have complained that the computer cannot be charged normally. Apple recently announced that it will provide free battery replacement services for affected MacBook Pro users.
Apple released the macOS Big Sur update system last week, causing some MacBook Pro devices to fail to charge more than 1% of the battery, mainly for product models launched from 2016 to 2017. Later, Apple released an updated version of macOS Big Sur 11.2.1 and provided supplementary updates for macOS Catalina 10.15.7 to solve the charging problem.
Officials recently suggested that users can check the battery health of MacBook Pro. If the system shows “recommended for repair”, users can contact Apple to use the free battery replacement service. The affected MacBook Pro models include, 2016 13-inch MacBook Pro, 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro, 2016 and 2017 15-inch MacBook Pro, etc.
