Mini JCW Cabriolet by AC Schnitzer Takes Your Breath Away

The Mini JCW Cabriolet already has no shortage of spice, but when German tuner AC Schnitzer decides to take an interest in it, the little convertible becomes radicalized and definitely loses its British phlegm.

Enough to offer us a more powerful, more spectacular, more radical Mini JCW Cabriolet … But aren’t these extras too much?

Engine
From a mechanical point of view, a Mini JCW Cabriolet does not lack energy with its 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder engine delivering 231 hp and 320 Nm. AC Schnitzer adds a good deal to total 265 hp and 390 Nm still transmitted only to the front wheels by the ‘intermediary of a 6-speed manual gearbox. Enough to reach 242 km / h in top speed. This increase in performance is backed by a 5-year warranty. A cover that can be extended to the AC Schnitzer stainless steel exhaust which adds a touch of sportiness to the exterior look – is it really necessary – and a little extra musicality to the backfiring and rumbles of the supercharged 4-cylinder. The exhaust tips can also be adorned with a chrome, carbon or black look.
