Geoffrey Parker, 3rd generation grandson of George S. Parker, founder of the pioneer brand of prestige, was invited to Penfest, the world’s first prestige pen festival in Istanbul,Turkey

Geoffrey Parker: “Parker’s passion for curiosity has been passed on from generation to generation. My great-grandfather on the trip, my grandfather aviation, I am also interested in history. This kept Parker alive. Parker is the world’s most imitated pen brand”, he said.

Penfest, the world’s first prestigious pen festival, held in Istanbul  Çırağan Palace. Geoffrey Parker, the grandson of the third generation of George S. Parker, founder of the Parker brand, was among the famous guests who joined the Penfest. Parker, who shared the story of leaving 130 years behind, founded in 1888 with the philosophy of the brand. Always a better pen , continued as follows: Then they ran their  farms. But at the age of 20,George S. Parker left home and decided to travel, which was his biggest passion. In the meantime, because of the high job opportunities learned telegraphics.

He’s been assigned to a job he didn’t want to do on railways. Telegraphy wanted to be an instructor by calling the school they learned and accepted. What he earned wasn’t enough for him to start working as a salesman in a pen company. He often sells these pens to his students. But the pens he sold sold it, and when he started, he repaired them with a sense of responsibility. Pencil went to the repair business, “Why do not I produce my own flawless pens?” He said. However, he was able to produce half a dozen pens, and he expanded his business with an insurer’s $ 1,000 investment. And it always acted to produce better pen.
Parker has been awarded the Royal Coat of Arms for 2 times in the UK, Parker said, marking that the brand is the most known and imitated fountain pen manufacturer of the 20th century.
