Almanya Fatih Akın’a Uyum Ödülü Veriyor
Türkiye kökenli Alman yönetmen, senarist ve prodüktör Fatih Akın Almanya’nın Norderney adasının uyum ödülünü alıyor. Ödül konuşmasını, festivalin himayesini de üstlenmiş olan Almanya’nın eski cumhurbaşkanlarından Christian Wulff yapacak.
Jüri, Fatih Akın’ın doğu ile batı arasında gitgel yaşayan insanları ilgi odağına alması dolayısıyla bu ödüle layık bulunduğunu açıkladı. Akın’ın yeni bir topluma ayak uydurmanın ne kadar sancılı bir süreç olduğunu çok etkili bir biçimde perdeye yansıttığı da vurgulandı. Türkiye kökenli yönetmenin filmlerinde ayrıca hoşgörü ve merhamet duygularının da olduğu insanî bir dünya görüşünü yansıttığının da altı çizildi.
Fatih Akın 1973 yılında Hamburg kentinde Türk göçmen bir ailenin çocuğu olarak dünayaya geldi. 2004’te çektiği „Gegen die Wand“ , “Duvara Karşı” filmi Berlin Film Festivali’nde En İyi Film kategorisinde “Altın Ayı” ödülüne layık bulunmuştu. Akını yaptığı filmler arasında ençok ilgiyi 2014 yılında, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde Türkiye’deki Ermenilerin dramını beyaz perdeye yansıttğı “The Cut” / “Kesik” filmini çekmişti.
