Apple iMac monoblock is twice as powerful. Apple has officially introduced the new generation iMac desktops of the new generation: the first-generation Intel Core processors of the ninth generation received monoblocks.

Computers with a 21.5-inch Full HD display (1920 × 1080 pixels) and a Retina 4K panel with a resolution of 4096 × 2304 pixels were announced. The basic configuration includes an integrated graphics controller Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640, and optionally it is possible to install the Radeon Pro Vega 20 accelerator with 4 GB of HBM2 memory.

It is argued that, compared with its predecessors, performance doubled. It is possible to install a 6-core Intel Core i7 chip with a clock frequency of 3.2 GHz (Turbo Boost acceleration to 4.6 GHz). The amount of RAM varies from 8 GB to 32 GB.

Depending on the configuration, a 1 TB hard disk with a spindle speed of 5400 revolutions per minute, a Fusion Drive with a capacity of 1 TB or a solid-state module with a capacity from 256 GB to 1 TB is responsible for data storage.

The equipment includes a FaceTime HD camera, stereo speakers, a Gigabit Ethernet network controller, Wi-Fi 802.11ac wireless adapters and Bluetooth 4.2, an SDXC card slot, four USB 3.0 ports and two Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports.

In addition, she debuted a 27-inch version of the iMac, equipped with a Retina 5K screen with a resolution of 5120 × 2880 pixels. An 8-core 3.6 GHz Intel Core i9 processor is available for this all-in-one (Turbo Boost acceleration to 5.0 GHz). The amount of RAM reaches 64 GB, the storage capacity – 2 TB.
