Earthquake Hits Turkey’s Çanakale

The magnitude 5.5 arthquake hits Turkey, Çanakkale Ayvacık District at 06:51 The central base of the Aegean Sea.  According to the scale of Richter earthquake 5.5 magnitude and 58 seismic waves, led to fear and panic.

Four people were slightly injured while some houses and stables were collapsed in Yukarıköy Village of Ayvacık where the depression had a devastating effect.

It is stated that there is no serious injury due to the fact that the houses are single-storeyed, the teams started to work in the surrounding settlements especially Yukarıköy.

According to the information obtained from Boğazici University Kandilli Observatory and Earthquake Research Institute, today the earthquake occurred at 06.51 at the epicenter Ayvacik Gülpınar Village openings Aegean Sea, according to Richter scale, 5.5 magnitude. Apart from Çanakkale, there were 58 shakes up to 10.31 hours at 4.2 hours, followed by the Richter scale at 07.17, followed by the earthquake that was felt in Muğla, Aydın, İzmir and Bursa.
