Egyptian President: There must be a Unified National Army in Libya
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi stressed the need for “to have a unified national army in Libya, speaking of numerous international attempts to find a solution in the country. He said:” We seek a political solution in Libya that preserves the territorial integrity. ”
Al-Sisi said earlier today, Wednesday, that “the intensification of the crisis in Libya at present, may push the various international and regional parties to search for a serious political solution, preventing matters from getting worse,” according to the Egyptian newspaper “Al-Shorouk” on its website.
Al-Sisi demanded, during a phone call on December 19, that German Chancellor Angela Merkel end the Libyan crisis through a comprehensive approach that includes all aspects of the issue.
