Elon Musk Announces the Tesla Cybertruck

Tesla co-founder Elon Musk made a speech at the meeting in California, boldly letting the staff hit the all-electric new car with a big hammer. He also played a video showing Cybertruck being able to withstand the bullets fired by the 90 pistol, showing how safe the pickup truck is.

However, when Musk wanted to showcase the car’s indestructible window glass, the result was obviously a drop in the plan. When an assistant smashed into a Cybertruck glass with a steel ball, the bulletproof glass immediately ruptured.

At this time, a curse was heard on the stage of the Tesla Design Center, and the assistant who accidentally broke the glass was uneasy. Musk said: “It may have been a little too strong.”

The assistant then tried again and smashed the steel ball into the second window glass. The result was still as bad as the glass cracked open.

At this time, obviously, the uncomfortable Musk said: “It didn’t penetrate.” After a series of smashing, Musk was forced to complete the whole conference in the background of the rupture of the new car’s two-sided window.

According to Musk, the industrial-shaped Cybertruck body uses the same steel alloy as the space developed by SpaceX. And the car can accelerate from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in about 3 seconds.

Musk also announced that the entry-level Cybertruck starts at $30,000,900 (about NT$1.22 million) and has an endurance of 400 km. The luxury version is priced at $60,000 (approximately NT$2.13 million) and has an endurance of 800 kilometers.

Tesla has not yet announced the Cybertruck listing date. But analysts say the electric car may not be available until the end of 2021.
