Hangi Ülkelerin Parlamentosunda Kadınların Sayısı Erkeklerden Fazla?

Tüm dünyada kadınların siyasette daha çok yer alması gerektiği tartışılırken Suudi Arabistan’da bile kadın siyasetçilerin yerel yönetimlerde daha aktif olmasını sağlayacak yasalar çıkarıldı.

 
Dünya Ekonomik Forumu tarafından cinsiyet eşitliğiyle ilgili bir araştırma yayınlandı. Sağlık, eğitim, ekonomi ve siyaset alanlarındaki kadın ve erkekler için mevcut fırsatlar arasında eşitsizlik araştırıldı. Forum’un 2014 Cinsiyet Uçurumu Raporunda 142 ülkede kadınların siyasetteki yeri mercek altına alındı ve ülkelerin parlamentolarında kadınların oranı araştırıldı. Türkiye yüzde 17.8’le ancak 79. sırada yer alabildi.

 
İskandinav ve Kuzey Avrupa ülkelerinin indeksin üst kademelerinde olması beklenirken sürpriz bir şekilde endeksin en üst sıralarında , Afrika Rwanda's parliamentparlamentolarında kadınların belirgin bir şekilde daha fazla temsil edildiği ortaya çıktı.

 
Ruanda 1.Bolivya ise 2. sırada yer aldı. İstatistiklere göre sadece dünyada iki ülke parlamentosunda kadın parlemterlerin sayısı erkeklerden daha fazla.
