European Stock Markets Closed in Red on Friday

The Eurozone factory activity data climbed to a three-year high in February. Coupled with good corporate earnings reports, European stock markets closed in red on Friday, and continued to rise for three consecutive weeks.

The weighted stock price index of Taiwan stocks fell 83.13 points on the 19th to close at 16,341.38 points, with a turnover of NT$346.82 billion.

The total sales of the three major legal entities exceeded NT$18.196 billion. Among them, self-employed businesses bought more than 927 million yuan, investment credit sold more than 195 million yuan, and foreign and mainland capital sold more than 18.928 billion yuan.

Risheng Investment Advisor stated that Taiwan stocks have risen after the Lunar New Year and encountered profit and selling pressure in the short-term. In addition, the short-term foreign futures orders continue to increase, and the index fluctuates in the short-term. File support is around 16,127 points on the 5-day line, and pressure is around 16,500 points.
