Germany’s Ambassador to Ankara was Summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Turkey

Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ and Economy Minister Nihat Zeybeçi had diplomatic reaction to  the Ankara’s  Berlin administration, because of they were not allowed to hold meetings with Turkish citizens in Germany.

Germany’s Ambassador to Ankara Martin Erdmann was summoned to the Foreign Ministry on the evening. The protest of Turkey to Erdmann,   who was accepted by Deputy Undersecretary Mehmet Kemal Bozay in charge of relations with Europe in the light of the protest of Turkey,  Turkey’s reaction was expresed both verbally and in writing.

Turkey stressed that the two ministers are not permitted to hold meetings with citizens, as they are incompatible with democratic and rule-of-law principles, as well as an attitude that is contrary to freedom of expression.
