Gucci Movie With Lady Gaga

Three Gucci decades brought together in one film. This is the essence of director Ridley Scott’s latest project, which, through a feature film, will unveil the best-kept family secrets of the great Italian fashion house. A project announced in 2019 and adapted from the book The Gucci Saga – From luxury to murder, from creation to the stock market war by Sara Gay Forden, published in 2001. The assassination of Maurizio Gucci in 1995 will thus take a very important place. The film’s release date is slated for fall 2021. Production is keen to see the film come out within the next year, as 2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Guccio Gucci brand.

Scheduled for fall 2021, Ridley Scott’s film promises to dive into the secrets of three generations of the Gucci dynasty. He will return, in particular, to the tragic disappearance of Maurizio Gucci in 1995.

While he is currently working on another film also scheduled for 2021 and dubbed The Last Duel – a staging of the last legal duel in France – Ridley Scott’s Gucci film features a golden cast. Headlining Jeremy Irons, Jared Leto, Al Pacino… but also Lady Gaga. The A Star Is Born singer and actress will play Patrizia Reggiani, Italy’s most famous widow who was sentenced to 26 years in prison for the murder of her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci. The late inheritor of the house currently in charge of Alessandro Michele will be played by Adam Driver.
