Hangi Lider Kraliçe’ye Rest Çekti
Büyük Britanya’da 7 Mayıs seçimleri sonrası güçlenen İskoçya National Parti (İskoçya Ulasal Partisi) lideri Nicola Sturgeon, Kraliyet ödeneğini kesme kararı aldı.
Konuyla ilgili olarak İngiltere’nin ciddi günlük gazetelerinden Guardian’ın haberinde, İskoç Ulusal Parti’nin (SNP) liderliğini üstlenen Nicola Sturgeon‘un, Başbakan David Cameron‘ın söz verdiği yetki devrini yerine getirene kadar ülkenin Kraliyet ödeneğini keseceği kararı aldığını ifade edildi. İskoçya’nın, Kraliyet bütçesine yıllık 2 milyon Sterlin (yaklaşık 8,4 milyon TL) ayırdığı biliniyor.
İngiltere hükümeti ise her yıl Britanya’daki Krallık arazilerinin gelirinin yüzde 15’ini Kraliyet ailesine ödüyor. Geçtiğimiz yıl, Kraliyet’e ayrılan 37,9 milyon Sterlin’lik gelirin 35,7 milyonunun harcandığı öğrenildi. Bu ödeneklerin bu yıl 40,05, gelecek yıl ise 42,8 milyon Sterlin’e çıkacağı tahmin ediliyor.
Times gazetesinde ise Kraliçe II. Elizabeth’in ödeneğine dair haber manşetten verildi.
“İskoçya Kraliçe’nin ödeneğini kesiyor” başlığıyla aktarılan haberde, Nicola Sturgeon liderliğindeki İskoç Ulusal Partisi’nin, Başbakan David Cameron’un verilen yetki devri sözlerini yerine getirene kadar Kraliyet bütçesine ödemeleri durdurma kararı aldığı ifade ediliyor.
İskoçya, Kraliyet bütçesine yıllık 2 milyon sterlin, yani yaklaşık 8,4 milyon TL katkı yapıyor.Toplam Kraliyet bütçesi ise 40 milyon sterlin düzeyinde.
Times gazetesine konuşan bir Kraliyet yetkilisi ise “Ödeneğin kesilmesi Kraliçe’nin İskoçya’ya yönelik tutumunda bir değişikliğe yol açmaz. Kaliçe İskoçya’nın da Kraliçesi olmaya devam edecek” diyor
