Hyundai May Come with 1.0 Liter Turbo Petrol Engine with Venue Grand i10 Neos

Hyundai has recently launched the new generation Grand i10 Nios in India. Now the company has screened its model to be launched in Europe. Europe will also be launching its N performance variant. Performance variants have also been seen during testing there.

There are discussions that a 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine can be given in its performance model. In the international market, this engine is available with 100 PS and 120 PS two power tuning.

In India, this engine is given in Hyundai Venue. This engine generates 120 PS of power and torque of 172 Nm at the Venue. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. It is believed that the engine with 100 PS power tuning can be given in Grand i10 Neos.

No official information has been received about the price yet. Typically, the turbo petrol model costs around one lakh rupees more than the regular model. In such a situation, it is being said that the price of Grand i10 Neos N-line can be 8.9 lakh rupees. If the company offers a 7-speed DCT gearbox in this, then its price can go up to around 10 lakh rupees. Its performance variant in India can be launched by 2022. It will compete with Volkswagen Polo GT and Tata Tiago JTP.
