İtalya Kongo’daki Eni yolsuzluğunu araştırıyor
İtalya ‘nın enerji devi Eni, Cuma günü yaptığı açıklamada, İtalyan makamları tarafından Kongo Cumhuriyeti’ nde yolsuzluk şüphesiyle araştırıldığını söyledi.
Corriere Della Sera’da yer alan haberlere göre Congo-Brazzaville‘deki petrol ruhsatları yenilenirken Eni rüşvet süpesiyle soruşturuluyor
Eni, Perşembe günü Milano savcılığının “2009 ve 2014 yıllarında Kongo’da belli faaliyetlerle ilgili belgeleri” talep ettiğini doğruladı. Ebnerji devi iki Eni yetkilisinin ofislerinin araştırıldığını da doğruladı.
İtalyan basınında Eni’nin 350 milyon Eoro karşılığı Kongo Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaşkanı Denis Sassou Nguesso’yala petrol danışmanı Denis Gokana tarafından yürütülen Afrika Petrol ve Gaz Şirketi de dahil olmak üzere ülke hükümeti tarafından belirlenen Kongolu şirketlerle kontrat imzaladığı belirtildi.
Eni hem şirket olarak hem de iki Eni yöneticisi dahil olmak üzere beş kişi araştırılıyor. Bu yöneticilerin geliştirme operasyonları başkanı ve teknoloji Roberto Casula ve yönetmen Maria Paduano olduğu açıklandı.
İddialar, Eni’nin Nijerya ‘daki yolsuzluktan yargılanmaya başlamasından bir ay sonra ortaya atıldı. Milan savcılarının 2011 yılı OPL-245 offshore petrol sahasının satın alınması sırasında rüşvet ödemesinden şüphelenmesi üzerine soruşturma başlattı.
