Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s Court Beatlle
Johnny Depp has sued his ex-wife Amber Heard, 34, after she wrote a debate article in which the ex-husband is indirectly pointed out as a wife abuser, and the film star fights against the English tabloid The Sun, which he has sued for gross slander.
It was after an article in The Sun 27 in April 2018 where Johnny Depp was called a “wife abuser” that he went to the roof.
The trial has now begun against the tabloid in The High Court in London and Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard, 34, is on site as a witness for the prosecution, writes The Guardian, reports Aftonbladet.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were only married for two years but they quarrel violently in courtrooms around the world. There are those who believe that Johnny Depp’s entire career as a movie star is at stake.
“This is a critical situation for Depp and he risks his entire career and reputation among his fans around the world,” legal expert Emily Cox told The Guardian.
She says that Hollywood has changed fundamentally with the metoo movement and that Johnny Depp can not count on being forgiven as easily as it would have been ten years ago.
The stakes for him are high. Hollywood has ignored and allowed celebrities’ abominable behavior before, but new winds are blowing through Hollywood and throughout society. It is most likely that Johnny Depp should change his name, says Emily Cox.
Both Vanessa Paradis, 47, and Winona Ryder, 48, will testify in Johnny Depp’s defense, where they will explain that he is not the type to abuse
