Dior has doubled down on its deal with Johnny Depp. Indeed, the luxury fashion house and cosmetics giant have signed the actor to a record-breaking new contract, marking the biggest deal ever for a men’s fragrance.

The company has always stood by Johnny Depp even when he faced his legal battle with ex-wife Amber Heard. Now, according to sources reported by Variety, the actor has signed a three-year deal worth more than $ 20 million.

This contact eclipses the figure that held the record so far at Dior, namely Robert Pattinson’s 12 million deal for Dior Homme. Then follow Brad Pitt’s 7 million to promote Chanel n. 5.

Since 2015, Johnny Depp has been the face of Dior Sauvage, with an advertising campaign that focused on his wild rocker image. The firm came under major pressure after a UK court ruled against it in its 2020 libel case against The Sun.
