Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner Break Silence on Astroworld Tragedy

Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner talk about the fatal end of the Astroworld festival.

On Monday, November 8, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians stars posted a short statement on their respective Instagram Stories, acknowledging the tragic events that unfolded at Travis Scott‘s music festival.

“Absolutely heartbroken over the lives that were lost and anyone who was injured like Astroworld,” wrote Kim. “Like all of you, our family is shocked by the tragedy. We keep all victims, families, and shocked loves in our prayers for healing, as well as Travis, who we know cares so much for his fans and is truly devastating”.

Kendall, who attended the concert with her pregnant sister Kylie Jenner, said in a separate statement that she “still doesn’t know what to say” about what happened on Friday. “I am truly heartbroken for the families who have lost loved ones and my prayers go out to everyone involved. Sending all my love to all who have been affected and wishing them strength during this incredibly devastating and sensitive time.”

Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner continued to share Kim’s statement on their own profiles.

His remarks come two days after dozens of concert goers were injured and eight people were killed during rapper “Sicko Mode” performance in Houston on Friday, November 5.

Kylie and Travis have also expressed their condolences to those affected. “Travis and I are heartbroken and devastated,” Kylie, 24, wrote on her Instagram Stories.

She added: “I want to make it clear that we were not aware of any deaths until the news came out after the show and in no world would I have continued filming or acting.”
