The British model Cara Delevingne arrives for the wedding of the princess Eugenie of York with Jack Brooksbank in the Chapel of St. George, in Windsor Castle – 10/12/2018

Cara Delevingne became a subject on the internet on arriving at Windsor Castle for Princess Eugenie’s wedding this Friday morning, dressed in a tuxedo with a top hat on her head. The look does not fit the standards of British royalty. According to the dress code of royal marriages, men wear suits or cuffs, while women must cling to medium-length dresses and, in the head, fascinators – a kind of hat or tiara usually made of fabric, lace, and feather.

To break the protocol completely, the model and actress combined the look signed by the Emporio Armani brand with a wooden toothpick in the mouth, “accessory” that she chewed until entering the castle.

Bisexual assumed, the model may have used the look as a form of protest over the old-fashioned rules of British royalty – or just wanted (and managed) to get attention. On social networks, so far, she has made no statement, only published some images of her bold style.
