No Official Receive for Emmanuel Macron in The G20

The imposing Donald Trump plane landed shortly after 10:00 p.m (local time) in the capital of Argentina, on the eve of the start of the G20 summit.

The plane that carried  Angela Merkel to Buenos Aires for the G20 had to return to Germany due to technical problems.

During the night of Wednesday and Thursday morning, various authorities arrived in Buenos Aires for the summit, including the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, who landed in Ezeiza. Apparently there was a protocol failure, because on his arrival there was no official to receive him and his wife.

Among other authorities who arrived are Mohammed bin Salman, Prince of Saudi Arabia; Giuseppe Conte, Prime Minister of Italy; Jusuf Kalla, vice president of Indonesia; Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda; Moon Jae-in, president of South Korea; Justin Trudeau, president of Canada; Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India; and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, president of Turkey.

The G-20 Summit of Buenos Aires, Argentina will be  held between November 30 and December 1, 2018. This is the first time that the event is organized in a South American country.

The G20, also called the Group of 20, is the main international forum where multiple issues are discussed, such as economic, financial and political issues. It seeks to address the great challenges of the world and generate solutions through public policies.

Melania Trump, Brigitte Macron, Sophie Trudeau, Emine Erdoğan  and the great hostess representing Argentina, Juliana Awada, are part of the group of chaplains of the heads of state of the leaders who will be in the country during the forum.

The G20 international forum gathers these days in Buenos Aires to the main world political leaders. The 19 economies of the richest countries, the so-called emerging countries and the European Union will have their global meeting. In this framework, the first ladies will not only accompany the leaders, but they will take their agenda of parallel activities.
