Obama: “IŞİD’e Karşı Türkiye İle Birlikte Hareket Ediyoruz”
ABD Başkanı Barack Obama İngiliz yayın kuruluşu BBC’de katıldığı yayında IŞİD’e karşı Türkiye ile hareket ettiklerini söyledi.
Barack Obama, 16 ülkeden oluşan koalisyonun IŞİD’e karşı mücadele ettiğini hatırlattı.
IŞİD’le mücadele konusunda müttefikleri ile yakın istişare içinde olduklarını vurgulayan Obama, “Türkler, Ürdünlüler ve bölgede diğerleri ile birlikte yapmak istediğimiz şey, IŞİD’in faaliyet gösteremeyeceği bir ortam oluşturmak. Ancak biz ayrıca yabancı savaşçıların Suriye sınırları üzerinden bu ülkeye akışını durdurmaya çalışıyoruz. Bu konuda ilerleme kaydettik” dedi.
Suriye’de siyasi bir geçiş sürecine ihtiyaç olduğunu belirten ABD Başkanı Obama, “Esad’ın, Rusların, İranlıların bunu anlamasını sağlamaya çalışıyoruz” şeklinde konuştu.
ABD Başkanı Barack Obama, aksi takdirde Suriye’nin tüm bölgeyi çok daha uzun ve kanlı bir çatışmaya iteceği uyarısında da bulundu.
İran’la yapılan nükleer anlaşmayada değinen ABD Başkanı Barack Obama birinci önceliklerinin İran’ın nükleer silah sahibi olma yolunu tıkamak olduğunu ve bunu başardıklarını söyledi.
İran’ın, yaptırımların kalkmasıyla elde edeceği kaynaklarını ekonomisini güçlendirmeye harcayacağını belirten Obama, anlaşmanın sonunda Amerikan Kongresi’nden geçeceğinden emin olduğunu ifade etti.
