Old Navy Incorporates Plus Sizes into all its Models for Women

Old Navy now offers all of its women’s clothing styles in sizes 0-28 in-store and 0-30 online.
Old Navy is redefining the shopping experience for women who wear plus sizes. As of this Friday, the American brand, a division of Gap, is integrating its plus size line, launched in 2004, into its regular collection.
As a result, all styles of women’s clothing will be available in 1,200 Old Navy stores around the world in sizes 0-28 (0-30 online), with no price difference. In 2014, Old Navy was criticized for selling jeans for plus-size women at a higher price, a disparity that had been corrected. Called “BODEQUALITY“, this initiative which aims to tend towards greater inclusion is also reflected in the disappearance of plus size sections in stores and online, a common practice, but denounced by many because of its stigmatizing aspect.
