Tesla Sales Record How Much The Cost of Electric Cars that Signed by Elon Musk

The company announced the data: in the fourth quarter it delivered 308,600 electric cars, a share that allowed it to reach almost one million cars in the year, almost doubling what it did in 2020 when it had delivered almost 500,000 electric cars

A sales success
Now it is easy to say «it was taken for granted», but no one would have bet in 2007 that a new company – specializing in electric cars – would have become the protagonist in about fifteen years. Although the auto market is experiencing a difficult time due to the semiconductor supply problem, 2021 was a record for Tesla.

The company announced the data: in the fourth quarter it delivered 308,600 electric cars, a share that allowed it to reach nearly one million cars in the year, almost doubling what it did in 2020 when it had delivered nearly 500,000 electric cars. In September, Tesla had taken away a great satisfaction: the Model 3 was the best-selling car in Europe with 24,591 units, surpassing all thermals such as Renault Clio, Dacia Sandero and VW Golf.

The (apparent) paradox is that Elon Musk’s House – despite many new projects such as Model 2 – is unable to meet the demands. So much so that it is working to immediately bring the Berlin gigafactory to maximum production: when fully operational, it should take a car off the lines every 45 seconds!
