The First Drug Treat Cancer from its Source

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has announced the release of the first drug in the world to treat cancer from its source and origin, to adults and children, the commissioner said.

Vitrakvi depends on the treatment of genetic mutations of cancer tumors, regardless of the type or place of disease.

“Approving the release and introduction of this drug is an important step in the treatment of cancer because it treats it from its source and treats the basis of the genes of cancerous tumors, regardless of the location of their origin in the human body,” said Scott Gottlieb, the commissioner of the FDA.

Gottlieb confirmed that the new drug will help cancer patients to get proper treatment. Vitracave contributes to the treatment of people with different cancers, but they have common genetic mutations.

“Traditionally, cancer has been treated on the basis of the source of cancer, but now treatment will be done anywhere in the body because you are treating the original gene that caused the tumor,” said David Hayman, president of the New York-based Center for Early Drug Development, Sloan Kettering Cancer.

The drug was actually tested on humans and a child was cured within months of taking the medicine. The drug will be administered on two bodies, the first in tablets or capsules, and the other in the form of a medicine for children.
