The growth figures for the first quarter of this year for the Turkish economy will be announced tomorrow.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) will announce the gross domestic product (GDP) data covering the January-March period on its website at 10:00 tomorrow.

Economists participating in the Growth Expectation Survey had predicted that the Turkish economy would grow by 3.74 percent in the first quarter of the year.

The Turkish economy grew by 7.6 percent in the first quarter, 7.8 percent in the second quarter, 4 percent in the third quarter and 3.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022, and recorded a growth of 5.6 percent according to 2022 annual figures.
