The new Volkswagen ID.3 is Already A Bestseller in Europe

During the past month of September 2020, sales of the Volkswagen ID.3 in Europe have reached 8,544 units. It is a fantastic result since it allows the ID.3 to become the third best-selling electric vehicle in the Old Continent during the ninth month of this year. It has only been surpassed by the Renault ZOE and by the Tesla Model 3. These two models are the clear benchmarks of electric mobility. Now, they must put the batteries (pun intended) to prevent the new Volkswagen electric subtract market share.

It is also important to point out a fact not minor in this interesting performance that the ID.3 is having in its recent landing in dealerships. And it is that, the first units of the ID.3 that have been registered correspond to the limited edition 1ST that, in turn, celebrates the commercial launch of the model. This edition, in addition to being one of the first to release this new model, is characterized by offering extensive standard equipment. Logically, this affects the sale price.

We must be aware of the ID.3 range since, once more basic finishes and engines are introduced, the sale price of Volkswagen electric will be reduced and this, predictably, will allow sales to be further boosted.

In its first month at European dealerships, the new ID.3 has been able to outperform its more direct rivals. The supply of electric cars of generalist brands is growing by leaps and bounds. Now, in segment C there is not much variety. Despite this, the ID.3 has been ahead of the Nissan Leaf, Hyundai IONIQ Electric and the Opel Ampera-e, among others.
