THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE: POSITIVE

The New York Stock Exchange is heading for an opening up Tuesday, continuing its positive momentum, boosted by the agreement in principle found by US parliamentarians to prevent further paralysis of the administration.

On the futures side, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the leading index of the New York public prosecutor, is up 0.84% ​​to 25,228 points. Also according to the futures contracts, the Nasdaq, with strong technological coloration, progressed by 0.88%, to 6974.50 points. The S & P500, meanwhile, takes 0.73% to 2728 points.

The resumption of trade negotiations between China and the United States also continued to fuel the hope of an agreement within three weeks of the deadline set by US President Donald Trump before a new round of trade sanctions against Beijing .

US Deputy Trade Representative Jeffrey Gerrish kicked off preliminary talks in Beijing on Monday ahead of Thursday’s meeting of negotiators’ chiefs: Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer and US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and, Chinese side, Deputy Prime Minister Liu He, and the governor of the Central Bank, Yi Gang.

Chinese stock markets finished higher on Tuesday, supported by the hopes of resolving the Sino-US trade dispute, and by the agreement in principle found by US parliamentarians to avoid further paralysis of the administration.

The Nikkei index of the Tokyo Stock Exchange ended a significant gain of 2.61% Tuesday, helped by a decline in the yen, hopes for Sino-US trade negotiations and an agreement in principle to avoid the partial shutdown of United States administrations.
