The Player Discovered The Remains of A Full-Fledged Subway in Cyberpunk 2077
A Reddit user under the pseudonym Sybekul shared a video demonstrating the remains of a full-fledged metro system in the release version of the action RPG Cyberpunk 2077.
Initially, the fast travel mechanic in Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to include subway rides, but the idea had to be abandoned a few months before release.
Despite this, even after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, you can still find elements of an unrealized system, which Sybekul demonstrated in his 46-second video.
In addition to empty rails, Sybekul discovered an abandoned local metro station in Cyberpunk 2077. The game even allows you to go inside, but there is nothing to do in the room – the hall, obviously, was not prepared for visitors.
In addition to the fast travel system that claims to be realistic, the customization of cars, running along the walls, and the arrangement of the hero’s apartment were cut out from Cyberpunk 2077 on the way to release.
Despite the abandonment of several promised gameplay features, the developers did not have time to fully prepare Cyberpunk 2077 for the three-time delayed release: at the launch, the project was replete with bugs and technical problems.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, Xbox One, GeForce Now and Google Stadia, and PS5, Xbox Series X and S in Backward Compatibility mode.
