Trump: We can not Allow Iran to have Nuclear Weapons

In an interview with Fox News on Monday, US President Donald Trump pledged that Iran would not have a nuclear weapon, saying the nuclear deal with Tehran was “horrific.”

“We do not want war with Iran, they can not threaten us, but we will not allow them to have nuclear weapons,” Trump said in the interview.

Trump launched a fierce threat to Twitter on Sunday, promising to destroy Iran if it wanted “war,” warning it to “threaten the United States again.”

“If Iran wants to fight, it will be the official end,” Trump said in a tweet on his official Twitter account. Never threaten the United States again. ”

The Trump news came after the New York Times on Wednesday revealed the nature of the intelligence that recently prompted the White House to send a military force to the Middle East in anticipation of an imminent Iranian attack.

The newspaper quoted three US officials as saying that the intelligence was in pictures showing Iranians loading missiles on small boats in the Persian Gulf, in what appeared to be an indication of an imminent Iranian attack.

The images, taken from the sky, showed full-blown missile fragments, raising fears that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard might fire those missiles at US naval vessels in the Gulf.

Other intelligence has identified threats against merchant ships in the region, as well as the possibility of attacks by Iranian-linked militias against US forces in Iraq.
