Turkey Will Rebuild Ukraine’s Roads, Bridges, Water and Electricity Infrastructure, Hospitals and Schools

Tuerkey’s President Erdoğan visited Ukraine, which has been at war with Russia for months, and met with Zelenski. An agreement was signed between Turkey and Ukraine for the reconstruction of the country’s infrastructure destroyed by the war.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who went to the city of Lviv in the west of Ukraine for the trilateral summit, first met with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenski at the Potochki Palace.

After the bilateral meeting, a meeting was held with the participation of UN Secretary General Antonio Guterris. It was reported that the Erdoğan-Guterres-Zelenski meeting, which lasted about 40 minutes.

During Erdoğan’s visit to Ukraine, an agreement was signed between Turkey and Ukraine for the reconstruction of the infrastructure destroyed by the war.

Zelenski shared on his Telegram account, “During the meeting in Lviv, we discussed with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan the possibility of improving the grain enterprise, the situation around the Zaporozhye NPP. We also touched upon issues of defense cooperation,” he wrote..

TURKEY AND UKRAINE WILL COOPERATE TO BUILD THE WAR-Destroyed Infrastructure

The agreement between Turkey and Ukraine for the reconstruction of Ukraine’s infrastructure destroyed by the war was signed by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov and the Minister of Commerce Mehmet Muş.

The agreement will create a Task Force for the reconstruction of Ukraine between the two countries.

The task force will coordinate the reconstruction of facilities of social and economic importance in Ukraine, such as roads, bridges, water and electricity infrastructure, hospitals and schools.
