A video clip, posted on the social networking site “Twitter”, at dawn on Friday, revealed the joy of the youth in Iraq with the news of the killing of the Quds Force commander, Qassem Soleimani, in an American missile attack on a car that was carrying him outside Baghdad Airport.
The video showed young men running with joy, carrying the Iraqi flag, chanting and clapping.
The videographer, who hears his voice with the clip, says that these celebrations took place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, after the announcement of the killing of Soleimani.
Associated Press reported some details about the operation, saying that the raid targeting Soleimani took place near the cargo area at Baghdad Airport, and that his targeting took place moments after he got off the plane that took him from Lebanon.
