“First, I will have pre-season and competition from Adan, very experienced, with class and quality. But I will give everything to try to gain minutes. Marcelo [Bielsa, Uruguay coach] told us that continuity [at the club] is key. I have to take advantage”, began by saying the Uruguayan goalkeeper.

Israel also remembered the debut for the national team of Uruguay.
