Brazilian Returned from Italy Suspected with Coronavirus

61-year-old man, who lives in the city of Sao Paulo, traveled to Italy between February 9th and 21st. The first exam was done at Hospital Albert Einstein and it was positive. Now, the confirmation must take place by a second exam done by the Adolfo Lutz Institute.

National Health Surveillance Agency requested on Tuesday (25) the list of passengers who traveled on the same flight as the Brazilian who was in northern Italy between February 9th and 21st and who tested positive for a preliminary exam for coronavirus. The man awaits the result of a counterproof.

He asked the airline for a list of passengers who were on the same flight as the passenger with a positive result for coronavirus. The Albert Einstein Hospital, in the South Zone of Sao Paulo, registered on February 25 the notification of the suspected case of a 61-year-old man.
