Forvia’s over one billion dollars in new contracts with a major European car manufacturer

Bucking the trend, Forvia shares slipped 0.3% to €14 in late morning trading. The automotive supplier nevertheless announced it had been awarded over $1 billion in new contracts and program extensions by a major European automaker. These new contracts cover technologies from Forvia HELLA‘s Seating, Interiors, and Lighting Business Groups and will be produced in seven plants in the United States and Mexico to support the automaker’s North American production operations.
“With the signing of these new contracts, Forvia reaffirms its position as a trusted partner and leading supplier to customers worldwide. This reinforces our commitment to advancing sustainable mobility while supporting local production through our industrial expertise in North America,” said François Tardif, Executive Vice President Americas.
In North America, Forvia employs approximately 26,000 people at 43 locations across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. In 2024, Forvia North America generated approximately €7 billion in revenue and supplied more than 20 customers with technologies from its Interiors, Seating, Clean Mobility, Electronic, Lighting, and Lifecycle Solutions business groups.
