Heart Attack is Often Masked
Doctors called all the early symptoms of myocardial infarction.
A heart attack can mask the symptoms of other diseases and this leads to a risk of complications and can even be fatal. American scientists conducted a new study and found that the first symptoms of a heart attack are very minor or even absent.

To conduct the experiment, scientists from the National Institute of Health in New York invited 1800 people over the age of 45 with a healthy heart. After a thorough examination, it turned out that 8% of respondents already have scarred heart – tissue damage. And most of the patients did not even suspect that they had heart problems.
“In some cases, patients experienced minor symptoms that were deemed insufficient to see a doctor,” explained the author of the study, director of the radiology department of the clinical center of the National Institute of Health David Blumke.
He noted that among the symptoms, patients named mild chest pain, nausea, vomiting, increased fatigue for no specific reason, heartburn, shortness of breath, and discomfort in the neck or jaw.
As doctors explain, disturbances in the heart lead to the formation of scars, and those to other side diseases, for example, to arrhythmia. The heart starts to work intermittently, and the worst thing is that such a situation leads to a sudden cardiac arrest.
Blumke said that after 40 years, especially if there is heredity, as well as other factors – overweight, hypertension, smoking, diabetes, you should consult a doctor when the first symptoms appear. If they do not pass within 20 minutes or intensify during physical exertion, then immediately.
