A beautiful tradition is being continued: the ninth trainee car for the young Skoda trainees will be called the Skoda Roadiaq. The name expresses the modern explorer’s thirst for adventure, which Skoda addresses with the current slogan “Let’s Explore“.

29 young people from the Skoda Auto vocational school in Mlada Boleslav, the company’s headquarters, took part in this year’s trainee project. They transformed an all-electric Skoda Enyaq into a multifunctional campervan that can serve as a mobile office. The many special features of the Roadiaq include the diverse sustainable materials for the interior.

Martin Slabihoudek, Head of the Skoda Auto Vocational School, explains: “In this project, our young people can apply their newly acquired knowledge in practice and systematically develop their skills. In addition, they delve deeply into the entire process of developing and manufacturing a new vehicle – from the first sketches on paper, through planning and organization to final assembly. This annual project, unique in its scope and complexity, offers our trainees the opportunity to contribute creative suggestions and clever ideas.”

The official presentation of the new Skoda Roadiaq will take place in June 2023.
