Nissan’s a series changes of its senior executive positions

Nissan has announced a series of changes to its senior executive positions across Africa, the Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania to more effectively support the re Nissan transformation plan, improve operational efficiency, increase speed, and focus more on customer needs.
Jordi Vella, the current Regional Vice President and President of Nissan Africa, has assumed the role of Regional Vice President for Nissan Europe, in addition to leading aftersales and brand services in the AMIEO region, while retaining his current position in Africa, effective January 1, 2026.
Vella has spent over three decades with Nissan, holding numerous senior leadership positions throughout his career, moving between the company’s headquarters and various markets, particularly in Europe, Asia, Oceania, and Africa. From 2017 to 2020, Jordi served as Vice President of Sales and Dealer Network Operations for Nissan Europe. He was then appointed Senior Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Asia and Oceania in 2020, followed by Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Europe. Since 2024, he has been based in South Africa and Egypt as President of Nissan Africa. Commenting on these significant changes, Massimiliano Messina, Chairman of Nissan for the AMIEO region, said: “The Nissan plan is based on transformation and customer focus. By integrating product planning and marketing and empowering regional leadership, we are building a more agile organizational structure that can respond quickly to market changes and deliver competitive and attractive products. I am confident that these changes will strengthen our performance and accelerate our progress through 2026.”
