The royal house of Jordan is preparing for a double wedding: Crown Prince Hussein will marry his fiancée Rajwa al Saif, while his sister Iman will marry Jameel Alexander Thermiotis. Just the princess was the protagonist of a big party in her honor before the wedding, the traditional Henna Party: the event was organized with great care by her mother Rania of Jordan, who, in addition to giving her her diamond tiara, for the occasion lent her a ‘piece’ of her wedding dress.

The fateful date is approaching: on March 12, 2023 we will witness a new ‘royal wedding’ in Jordan. Princess Iman prepares for her big day surrounded by the love of friends and relatives during the ‘henna night’, a traditional ritual for future brides. At the Henna party she looked radiant in a long white embroidered dress.

It is a creation of the Jordanian designer of Palestinian origins Reema Dahbour, specialized in ethical and sustainable fashion. Next to her was her mother Rania, who chose a long crimson and pink dress, and her future sister-in-law Rajwa Al Saif, in a long colored dress and a pair of Gianvito Rossi suede shoes.

However, the princess with a simple and elegant style decided to add a personal touch to her dress: she wore a white and gold belt by Bruce Oldfield (Camilla’s favorite designer, so to speak) which belongs to her mother Rania. Not just any belt, but a piece of the wedding dress. The queen herself pinned it on her daughter’s dress in a touching handover from bride to bride: we just have to wait for her on the 12th to dream with a new royal wedding dress!

Iman’s henna party dress was reminiscent of the one she wore for her official engagement portrait that accompanied the announcement she was getting married.

“The Royal Hashemite Court is pleased to announce the engagement of Her Royal Highness Princess Iman bint Abdullah II to Mr. Jameel Alexander Thermiotis, on Tuesday, 5 July 2022,” wrote the Court, “in the presence of Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, as well as Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II, and Princess Salma bint Abdullah II, in addition to members of Mr. Thermiotis’ family.”
