Reebok Releases First Pair of Plant Running Shoes …

Reebok has announced further investment in sustainable development. The latest Forever Floatride Grow feature uses plants such as castor bean, eucalyptus and algae as raw materials, and continues to use the design of its environmental protection footwear line Cotton + Corn.

In order to replace petroleum materials with plants, Reebok spent three years researching and maintaining high-performance running shoes without compromise.

Among them, the midsole with both shock absorption and rebound functions is an exclusive cooperation with Sekisui Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., using castor beans, the upper is made of palm trees, and the inner cage is from algae. The natural rubber in the sole is made from rubber tree in a sustainable way.
