Silver, Gold Rate Today: Gold closed at Rs 47,405 per 10 grams on Thursday with a gain of Rs 209 in the bullion market of the national capital Delhi amid rising trend of precious metals in global markets. HDFC Securities gave this information. In the last trading session, gold had closed at Rs 47,196 per 10 grams.

Silver also gained Rs 617 to close at Rs 60,179 per kg. It had closed at Rs 59,562 per kg in the last trading session.

In the international market, gold rose to USD 1,785 an ounce, while silver remained almost unchanged at USD 22.16 an ounce.

In futures trade, gold prices have risen by Rs 293 to Rs 48,380 per 10 grams on Thursday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, contracts for February delivery traded higher by Rs 293, or 0.61 per cent, at Rs 48,380 per 10 grams in 8,631 lots. Whereas, globally, gold prices fell by 1.25 per cent to Rs 1,786.50 per ounce in New York.

On the other hand, silver prices on Monday rose by Rs 1,170 to Rs 61,378 per kg in futures trade. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, contracts for silver for March delivery advanced by Rs 1,170, or 1.94 per cent, to Rs 61,378 per kg. These prices are in business turnover of 12,907 lots.

Prices in Mumbai and Kolkata
At the same time, the price of gold in Kolkata, the capital and metropolis of West Bengal, is at Rs 61,400 per 10 grams. At the same time, silver can be bought in this city for Rs 61,600 per kg.
