100 Million EV Hypercar “Battista” Released Later this Year
0-100km / h is less than 2 seconds, 0-300km / h is less than 12 seconds!
Pininfarina‘s electric two-seater sports car, which won the world premiere at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, named after its founder, “Battista” has a maximum output of 1400kW (1900ps) and a maximum torque of 2300Nm. Only the numbers were walking alone.
This is because the dynamic performance of the hyper sports car scheduled to be released from this Automobili Pininfarina is 0-100km / h in less than 2 seconds, 0-200km / h in less than 6 seconds, and 0-300km / h. It takes less than 12 seconds and the maximum speed is about 350km / h. When it comes to acceleration, even the “Bugatti Chiron Supersport” sports car with an internal combustion engine couldn’t compete with it, because it was beyond imagination.
I was a little disappointed when I saw this number, but it was a rare opportunity, so I headed to Nardo, a high-speed test course in Southern Italy.
What was waiting was a camouflaged Battista, the driver was former F1, and now Nick Heidfeld, who is familiar with the nickname of “Quick Nick” as a Formula E driver.
Although it was raining a little, the road surface was in dry condition, and the test drive started from the 6.2km handling course. It doesn’t suddenly get high speed here, but its acceleration and quick cornering are just breathtaking.
As already known, Battista is being developed in parallel with the hyper sports car “Rimac C_Two” announced by Croatian maker Rimac . However, Battista has its own electronic control program and chassis tuning, and Pininfarina claims that Battista has its own performance and dynamic characteristics.
