Banco do Brasil Should Close the Year Paying 12% in Dividends Projects XP

According to estimates by XP Investimentos, updated this week, Banco do Brasil (BBAS3) should add up to a proportional payment of dividends even higher than the current one this and next year.

The projection is that the dividend yield (DY) of Banco do Brasil shares will be 12.2% this year and 12.8% next year.

The projected DY, therefore, is slightly above the current level of the papers, of 11.5%.

That’s because BBAS3 paid BRL 4.52 per share in the last 12 months, according to data from Status Invest.

As a result, Banco do Brasil’s dividends should be the highest among the banking sector.

The only bank that should pay dividends and add a double-digit yield, according to XP, should be Banrisul (BRSR6), with 10% next year.

In addition, B3 (B3SA3) and Bradesco (BBDC4) are among the papers with an estimated yield close to 7% this or next year.
