BCP Leads Lisbon to Go Against Europe and Close in the Green

The Portuguese stock exchange clashed with a red-tinged Europe in the last session of September. BCP gains of more than 3% supported the PSI-20.

The PSI-20 said goodbye to September with a gain of 0.76% to 5,460.80 points, bucking the falls experienced in Europe, where only the pan-European Stoxx 600 index remains above the waterline.

In the last session of the month, nine quoted closed high, nine in the red and Ibersol ended the day unchanged.

The good performance of Lisbon is largely due to the rise of 3.84% of BCP, to 15.67 cents, extending the path of appreciation of the bank led by Miguel Maya.

Greenvolt also stood out, gaining 2.94%, to 5.96 euros, as well as Galp, with a rise of 2.32%, up to 9.80 euros.

Pharol (1.78%), Corticeira Amorim (1.54%) and EDPR (1.52%) also appreciated more than 1%.

Limiting the gains of the main national index were the retailers Jeronimo Martins (-0.55%, to 17.21 euros) and Sonae (-0.44%, to 90.85 cents), as well as EDP, which transferred 0 0.33%, to 4.535 euros, and CTT, which fell 0.32%, to 4.655 euros.
