It was on Instagram, in the evening, that the couple announced the sad news through a story published on the accounts of Shawn and Camila.

“We have decided to end our relationship, but our love for each other as humans is stronger than ever. We started this relationship as best friends and will continue that way. We appreciate your support from the beginning and for the future.”

The pair confirmed their relationship in 2019, appearing together on the red carpet at the MTV Awards.
