Enters The Pre-Sales Business

At the end of last year, HSBC had more than 1.6 million credit cards placed in the Mexican market.

After years where pre-sales were something exclusive to Citibanamex, HSBC signed an agreement with Ocesa so that its cardholders can access this type of benefits, for which they will start with the Mana and Cafe Tacvba concerts.

According to the financial institution headed by Jorge Arce, this agreement represents its entry into the exclusive presale of highly relevant musical events for the Mexican public.

The bank told Forbes Mexico that these are the first pre-sales by Ocesa, however, they will add more.

According to data from the National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV), HSBC had more than 1.6 million credit cards placed in the Mexican market at the end of last year, which positioned it as the fourth bank with the most issued plastics.

CNBV statistics indicate that Citibanamex is the leader in this segment, with more than 7.1 million plastics; followed by BBVA with 6.5 million, Santander with 3.2 million, and Banorte with 1.7 million.

Last February, Citibanamex announced that it reaffirmed its alliance with Ocesa for its special pre-sales, which is almost 30 years old.
