Gold Prices Hit New Highs

The price of gold in Pakistan reached a new high.

Gold prices fell 6 an ounce to  1,840 an ounce in international trade on Saturday.

Despite falling gold prices in the global bullion market, gold prices in the local barter markets have reached new highs.

On the day of Fateh, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs. 300 while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs. 258.

On the last day of the business week, the price of gold per tola and 10 grams in the local barter markets reached Rs. 145,800 and Rs. 125,000 respectively.
