Gold on Monday rose by Rs 150 to Rs 60,600 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market amid a rise in the prices of the precious metal in the international market. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 60,450 per 10 grams. However, silver declined by Rs 120 to Rs 77,580 per kg during this period.

Gold rises in the global market, silver stable

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Saumil Gandhi said, “Spot gold prices rose by Rs 150 to Rs 60,600 per 10 grams in Delhi markets.” In the overseas market, gold traded higher at $2,022 an ounce, while silver remained almost flat at $25.65 an ounce. Gold prices rose in Asian trading on Monday, taking support from a weak US dollar, said Gandhi.
