Batman and Superman are two of DC’s main heroes and have received several adaptations for the cinemas, including facing each other in the movie Batman v Superman – Dawn of Justice (2016) by Zack Snyder. More recently, Henry Cavill has played the Man of Steel, while Christian Bale, Ben Affleck and currently Robert Pattinson have taken on the mantle of the Batman. That’s right! Actor Ben Affleck was the one who played Batman and Superman in theaters.
Starting with what everyone knows, Ben Affleck played Bruce Wayne/Batman in the DCEU (Shared Universe of DC Films and Series), appearing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Justice League (2017) and League of Legends. Justice – Snyder Cut (2021). He has not officially said goodbye to the character yet, as he will appear in The Flash (2023) alongside Michael Keaton’s Batman.
