Queen Letizia Returns to the Red

Queen Letizia returns to the red with a very autumnal dress for her opera night with King Felipe…

It has been a very busy week for Kings Felipe and Letizia who continue with their agenda after the most atypical summer for the Spanish royal family. Their September schedule is quite intense – yesterday we saw them at the National Library to preside over the opening of an exhibition dedicated to Miguel Delibes – but this Friday they were able to fulfill one of their great hobbies: going to the opera. An act with which, of course, they wanted to show their support for this sector once again.

The monarchs have inaugurated the new season of the Royal Theater by attending Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera performance. A cultural event in which many well-known faces such as Isabel Preysler and Mario Vargas Llorsa, Tamara Falco, Anne Igartiburu and Eugenia Silva have met.

For the occasion, and following this week’s trend, Doña Letizia has rescued one of her most acclaimed looks by recycling one of her favorite Carolina Herrera dresses. A piece, totally to her taste and really flattering for its silhouette and flared skirt with lace, which the queen already wore in 2017, her style becoming viral for its good taste and elegance.

In addition to the shape, the dress that Letizia has worn to go to the opera with the king is in her great favorite color, red. Although she has flirted with other colors in her wardrobe, there is no doubt that Felipe VI’s wife continues to bet on her fetish color for big occasions. She has completed the look with her heels also by Carolina Herrera.
