Rare “Rreverse Lightning” Blasting from the Bottom Up in the Air

A senior American chasing chaser took a rare Upside Down Lighting in March and even recorded a precious slow-motion picture.

“Caters TV” reported that the chasing man Dan Robinson had 27 years of experience. He spent a month traveling through Texas, Oklahoma and Illinois, taking lightning from the center of the sky. Wonderful scenery.

The film shows that lightning is like a tree branch, spreading upwards in the sky. At the beginning of one of the images, the location where the lightning appeared was very close to the wind power plant, giving the impression of danger.

Robinson said that when lightning strikes above the clouds, it will trigger upward lightning on higher ground objects such as radio towers. When most large thunderstorm complexes pass above, skyscrapers and other high objects often show upward lightning. As long as it is light rain and high cloud bottom, the visibility and brightness of this type of discharge will be extremely high.
